Sport wrap frames are engineered for performance: a wraparound TR90 nylon front, hydrophilic rubber nose and temple grips that tighten when wet, and impact-resistant polycarbonate or polarized TAC lenses with a high base curve for full peripheral coverage. LumiShades supplies sport wraps to cycling, running, fishing, golf and general outdoor brands, with options for interchangeable lenses, vented lens designs to reduce fogging, and adjustable nose pieces. These frames meet the impact and coverage expectations of athletic buyers and support mirror, polarized and photochromic lens programs.

What base curve do your sport wraps use?
Standard sport wraps use an 8-base curve for full wraparound peripheral coverage. We can also tool 6-base for a flatter, more casual sport-lifestyle look.
Are interchangeable lenses available?
Yes. We offer a snap-in interchangeable lens system so athletes can swap polarized, mirror and clear/low-light lenses. This is available above 300 pairs.
Do the lenses meet impact standards?
Polycarbonate sport lenses meet the high-velocity and high-mass impact expectations of ANSI Z80.3 / Z87 basic impact and pass our drop-ball QC.
How do you prevent the frames from slipping during exercise?
Hydrophilic rubber on the nose and temple tips grips more firmly as it gets wet with sweat, keeping the frame secure during high-output activity.
Can sport wraps be made photochromic?
Yes. Photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight are popular for cycling and are available with anti-fog and mirror coatings.
What branding works on a rubberized sport frame?
Pad printing, laser etching and overmolded raised logos all work. Overmolded logos are integrated during injection and look premium but require tooling at higher volumes.
