LumiShades Optical Co., Ltd. announced that it now serves more than 1,200 active brand partners worldwide, spanning DTC eyewear labels, sports and outdoor brands, promotional agencies and optical private-label programs. Following strong demand from sustainability-led brands, LumiShades has expanded its plant-based bio-acetate and recycled-content options to every frame style in its catalog, alongside recyclable packaging. The program lets buyers offer a lower-impact product without sacrificing the finish or durability of conventional acetate.
A new in-house lens cutting and coating line has lifted LumiShades' annual production capacity beyond 5 million pairs, while shortening sample lead times for polarized, mirror and photochromic lenses. The investment keeps the entire optical process inside the company's Wenzhou facility.
LumiShades renewed and consolidated its certification suite — CE EN ISO 12312-1, FDA registration, ANSI Z80.3, AS/NZS 1067, REACH and ISO 9001 — streamlining how documentation is issued to buyers and reducing customs friction for international shipments.
