Sunglasses MOQ Cost Calculator
Estimate the per-pair cost of a custom sunglasses order by frame material, lens technology and quantity. Numbers reflect our real 2026 OEM factory pricing.
How this calculator works
Each option carries a real cost delta from our 2026 factory pricing. The base reflects a 300-pair order in standard frame material with a UV400 gradient lens, laser branding and pouch packaging. Toggling frame material, lens technology, decoration, packaging and quantity adjusts the per-pair price using the same offset-and-multiplier logic as our sales-quote system.
The quantity tier applies an economies-of-scale multiplier. The biggest savings come between 50 and 1,000 pairs, because setup costs (lens edging calibration, color matching, decoration setup, line changeover) amortize across more units. Beyond 5,000 pairs, frame and lens material become the dominant cost drivers and tier discounts taper.
What this calculator does NOT include
- Ocean or air freight — see our logistics guide
- Import duties and taxes — see our market pages for region-specific rates
- One-time tooling: custom frame die or temple mold (several hundred dollars, amortized over volume)
- Pantone color matching surcharge on small orders, and custom acetate sheet minimums (~600 pairs/color)
- Compliance testing (CE EN ISO 12312-1, ANSI Z80.3, AS/NZS 1067 reports)
- Sampling fees ($30-$80 per sample, often refundable against bulk orders)
